The United Nations General Assembly hosted a session this week in New York entitled “Water, Peace and Security.” Among others, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Catherine Ashton, the foreign policy lead for the European Union, spoke. The Skoll Global Threats Fund, which tackles water security as one of our areas of work, supports the U.S. Water Partnership, a private-public partnership launched by Secretary Clinton earlier this year that helped organize this UN event.
